Foucault Studies Book Review
My review of Mitchell Dean’s book “Governing Societies: Political Perspectives on Domestic and International Rule” has finally been published in the new special issue of the Foucault Studies journal.
In other news, it has been a month since I have been able to blog. This is in large part because I have been attempting to finalize my research agenda for my dissertation, which incidently extends several of Dean’s key arguments. Also, I have been working on finishing up a journal article on aesthetics, affect, and educational politics within the thought of Jacques Ranciere and Gilles Deleuze, which I am pleased to report has been accepted for review by the journal “Educational Philosophy and Theory”. Whether it will be accepted for publication is another question, however, I am hoping that with this off my back I can do some more blogging.
